1st Week of Advent: CONNECT

What do you think of when you think of connecting something? I immediately think about connecting my phone to it's charger. Without that power source, once my phone runs out of battery life it is nothing more than a fancy paperweight.

I think the same goes for us. When we aren't connected we run out of energy and we become nothing more than a cranky shell. Advent is an opportunity to connect. Connect to God this Advent. He is the all powerful, the almighty. Why not let him recharge your life so you can be operating at 100%?

Or maybe you need to connect to your family. Life is crazy with schedules pulling us this way, that way, and back. Sometimes we hardly connect with the people who live in the same house as us!

Spend some time this Advent connecting with God and loved ones. Make time to go Mass, eat dinner as a family, and be together. You'll feel recharged and it will make the coming of Jesus at Christmas that much more amazing!
